DeDan Milton is a former aide to former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.

He was charged on Jan. 20, 2010 with conspiracy to commit bribery and extortion, two counts of bribery and two counts of extortion by a federal grand jury. The charges were related to the sale of Camp Brighton for $3.5M in 2007 to the Chaldean Catholic Church.

His defense lawyer at the time the charges were filed was W. Otis Culpepper.

Kandia Milton, his brother, and former police officer Jerry Rivers pleaded guilty to conspiracy in the case in December 2009.
